REVISED SCHEDULE FOR The East African Safari Classic Rally Confirmed MINI SAFARI CLASSIC TO RUN IN 2021 FULL SAFARI CLASSIC TO RUN ACROSS THE REGION IN FEBRUARY 2022
Nairobi, Kenya…The East African Safari Classic Rally that was to take place from 1st November 2021 to 9th November 2021 will now take place early next year, organisers have confirmed.
“Despite the regrettable news of the postponement of the 2021 East African Safari Classic, the management can now confirm that the 10th edition of the world's greatest classic rally will take place on 10th – 18th February 2022. We are working tirelessly to ensure that we give all stakeholders a spectacular event,” said The East African Safari Classic Rally Board Chairman Joey Ghose in a statement.
A full entry is expected for 2022, and the expertise of the organising team will guarantee a thoroughly professional and competitive event that will cover almost 5,000 km across the region, incorporating Kenya's finest rallying roads and, COVID-19 status permitting, with stages in neighbouring Uganda and Tanzania over nine days, returning the event to its original East African status.
To ensure we continue to fulfil our competitors desires, a Mini-Classic will run in 2021 as a taster for the event.
The Mini Classic will run in Kenya for 5-9 days within the original dates of 1st – 9th November 2021, observing full COVID protocols and offering a reduced entry fee for competitors.
